Bogambara prisoners demand PCR tests

A group of Bogambara Prison inmates staged a protest on the roof of the prison's building yesterday (17), demanding that PCR tests be conducted on them. Around 20 inmates were involved in the protest, according to Prison Spokesman Chandana Ekanayake. PCR tests will be conducted on 22 May, and the prison administration yesterday (17) met the inmates and took the requisite measures to administer the tests. Accordingly, following the discussions the inmates called off their protest in the afternoon of the same day .
