State Minister of Home Affairs and Disaster Management Chamal Rajapaksa states that it is very important for Parliamentarians to understand their responsibilities, duties, and limitations.
He stated this while speaking to the media after a meeting of the Rural Infrastructure Development Committee held at the Kandy District Secretariat yesterday (12).
Rajapaksa states that in his political career of over 35 years, he never interfered with the Judiciary and that such offenses should be punished. He further stated that being a Parliamentarian does not give you the right, nor can it be used as an excuse to insult the judiciary.
