Army Chief discusses strategies for the Army with newly-appointed PSOs

General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff, Commander of the Army, and Head of the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) met the newly appointed Principal Staff Officers (PSOs) of the Army HQ and proposed strategies for organizational advancement and future prospects for the country's largest manpower organization.

How the organization could progress with the newly-devised 'Way Forward Strategy 2020-2025' training opportunities, and how the troops could be used for nation-building tasks, etc in a more productive manner were discussed at the meeting.

The Army Chief also requested those PSOs to submit their own proposals and observations and sought their contribution for further improvement of those future approaches.
