All schools in the Kilinochchi District have been temporarily closed from today (24) until Friday (27).
This decision has been taken by the Education Ministry as per the instructions of health authorities, after it was confirmed that a person in the area had tested positive for COVID-19.
A meeting is scheduled to be held today to discuss the situation, with the participation of officials of the Education Ministry and health authorities.
