The Attorney General has summoned the Director General of the Department of Wildlife Conservation and department officials today (06).
Coordinating Secretary of the Attorney General State Counsel Nishara Jayaratne said that the summons were issued to inquire into the reports of deforestation across the country.
Appropriate directives will be issued following the discussion today, she added.
