36 persons have tested positive for Covid-19 at a rehabilitation center in the Kattuwa area in Negombo yesterday (16). Out of the 50 persons who were subjected to PCR tests, 36 have tested positive for Covid-19.
Meanwhile, Negombo Administrative Public Health Inspector Wasantha Solanga Arachchi said that immediate antimicrobial tests were carried out on five fishermen who were trapped in a boat and all five were found to be infected with corona.
