30 Uncapped players in LPL

30 uncapped Sri Lankan players will be in action in the upcoming Lanka Premier League (LPL) tournament at MRICS Hambantota from 26 November to 16 December. 

Seven players are with Jaffna Stallions (four from the Northern area and two schoolboys from Jaffna); six players each are with Dambulla Viiking (which includes 2020 Youth World Cup players Dilshan Madushanka and Kavindu Nadeeshan), Galle Gladiators and Kandy Tuskers, and five are with Colombo Kings. Sri Lanka youth cap and school batting record holder Navod Paranavithana of Mahinda College Galle is the youngest player in the tournament. 

Jaffna Stallions (7):  Mahesh Theekshana, Charith Asalanka, Nuwanidu Fernando, Kanagaratnam Kapilraj, Theivendiram Dinoshan, Vijayakanth Yiyaskanth, Seebastianpillai Vijeyaraj

Dambulla Viking (6):  Pulina Tharanga, Ramesh Mendis, Ashen Bandara, Dilshan Madushanka, Sachindu Colombage, Kavindu Nadeeshan

Kandy Tuskers (6): Kavishka Anjula, Lahiru Samarakoon, Nishan M. Fernando, Kevin Kotthigoda, Chamikara Edirisinghe, Ishan Jayarathne 

Colombo Kings (5): Lahiru Udara, Himesh Ramanayake, Kalana Perera, Tharindu Rathnayaka, Navod Paranavithana

Galle Gladiators (6): Nuwan Thushara, Mohamed Shiraz, Dhananjaya Lakshan, Chanaka Ruwansiri, Sahan Arachchi, Duvindu Tillakaratne. (IR)
