Local 27 arrested for failing to abide by COVID-19 guidelines

27 individuals were arrested over the past 24 hours for failing to wear face masks and maintain social distancing in public areas.

DIG Ajith Rohana added that a total of 2,605 persons have been arrested since 30 October up-to-date for failing to adhere to the COVID-19 regulations imposed by Health Authorities.
