PHU requests President to reconsider several aspects of 20A
The Pivithuru Hela Urumaya has sent a letter to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa regarding the 20th Amendment to the Constitution yesterday (19).
The Party, led by Minister Udaya Gammanpila, has requested the President to pay attention to several aspects of the Amendment.
In the letter, the PHU Leader calls for reconsideration of the 20th Amendment to the Constitution, abolition of powers vested in the Auditor General to audit State-owned enterprises, allowing dual citizens to become Members of Parliament and the President, and the removal of the limit on the number of Ministers.
