Senura loses in semi-final

Sri Lanka’s number one ranked player Senura Silva of Ananda College Colombo lost to Jain Payas (India) 3-1 In the semi-final of the under-17 Boys’ singles event at the World Table Tennis Youth Championship held in Muscat, Oman last evening. The 15-year-old promising paddler recently performed well at the 25th Asian TT Championship in Doha Qatar. He was able to beat higher ranked players at this event and helped Sri Lanka finish in 18th place. Senura’s progress to the semi-final
