Prime's Premalal elected President CDASL
Prime Group's dynamic Chairman Premalal Brahmanage has been appointed President of the Condominium Developers Association – Sri Lanka (CDASL) for 2021/2022.
He succeeds Suresh Rajendra of John Keells Holdings PLC who completed his term as Chairman at the culmination of this year's Annual General Meeting.
"I am both privileged and humbled to have been entrusted this role as the President of the Condominium Developer's Association, as an organisation with a proud past and an exciting and prosperous future. Over the next year, we will continue to build on our strengths and explore new directions. While the times ahead may seem challenging, I am confident that as we stand united in our values, skills and commitment, we will continue to overcome and forge ahead from strength to strength to serve the best interests of our nation.
"To commence my tenure, I will relook at the Condominium Act to improve operations within the industry and facilitate joint promotions outside Sri Lanka to secure mileage within the international market. In a business environment conflicted by a global pandemic, this will help us fortify our contribution to the government, local businesses as well as the broader community.
"As I assume this new position, I wish to acknowledge our outgoing President Suresh Rajendra. His leadership towards the association was steady, assured and pragmatic and his clear vision helped the Association navigate the deeply challenging world environment driven by the COVID-19' pandemic. His knowledge and experience played a pivotal role in this regard and I offer my deep gratitude for his wonderful service and hard work rendered towards CDASL together with the outgoing Executive committee.
"Finally, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to my company Prime Group and all its stakeholders for working with an inspiring dedication and passion. As we embrace the challenges and opportunities of the 'New Normal', I look forward to serving the Condominium Developers Association and its Members to the best of my ability," remarked Brahmanage.
