PM returns from Italy
Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa returned to Sri Lanka earlier this morning (20), after concluding his diplomat visit to Italy.
Rajapaksa attended the G20 Interfaith Forum Italy-2021, held at the University of Bologna, accompanied by External Affairs Minister Prof. G. L Peiris and Prime Minister's Secretary, Gamini Senarath.
The delegation left on 10 September, after which the Premier delivered the keynote address at the inaugural session of the Forum.
In addition to several other high-level diplomatic meetings, Prime Minister Rajapaksa engaged in a cordial discussion with Sri Lankan expatriates from various parts of Italy.
