FT HCL Technologies Signs MoU With Horizon Campus

Horizon Campus Malabe, recently, renewed its Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HCL Technologies, a leading multinational in the field of IT and software development, which includes a more dynamic programme of higher education and employment combination offered to students who wish to enter the field of Information technology.

The TechBee programme which is part of the present MoU is the first of its kind to be offered to students who have completed and successfully passed the Local or international GCE A/L examinations. The uniqueness of this programme, offered jointly by HCL Technologies and Horizon Campus, stems from the fact that the selected students would be offered training/employment while they read for their selected degree in the field of Information Technology at Horizon Campus Malabe.

Secondly, with the country needing approximately 20,000 employees in the IT industry per year,  this partnership will be able to generate a fairly large proportion of this human resources to the industry and the nation.
