Excise Collective says Govt lost Rs 20B

 The Excise Trade Union Collective says that due to the closure of liquor outlets throughout the country due to the imposition of the quarantine curfew, the Government had lost tax revenue to the tune of Rs 20 billion during the period. They said that from the sale of a single liquor bottle, the State receives a tax of Rs 955 and said that all liquor manufacturers here were local businessmen and added that the country’s finances were not going overseas.
