A Day in Santorini
By Glamour Editorial
Modest fashion has found its footing in the modern fashion scene thanks to brands like H&M, Dolce & Gabbana, and Uniqlo releasing collections that cater to people interested in them, not to mention the kickstarting of Modest Fashion Weeks in cities like London, Singapore, and Istanbul. The term ‘modest fashion’ is being tossed around a lot due to the tremendous increase in popularity in recent times. While dressing conservatively might seem at odds with the latest fashion trends - think plunging necklines and long sleeves and covered looks are increasingly becoming popular in fashion.
Zameera Iliyas is the Founder and lady behind the clothing brand Shainy Exclusive Wear. She is 22 years old and started her clothing line in 2018 as a hobby. Her biggest support has been her older sister and family. “I have completed my O/L, A/L, and diploma in HRMI, while I was engaged in Shainy,” she added.
Shainy is perfect for anyone who has a delicate, feminine sense of style. Many of the dresses and tops feature pretty floral and ruffles and come in a variety of colours. The modest wear brand creates easy-to-wear pieces that are not only stylish but provide comfort with loose and forgiving silhouettes.
“While growing my business day by day, I am still learning about the fashion industry in order to provide my customers with unique modest attires. My future plan is to take my brand global,” Zameera explained. Perfect for anyone who has a minimalist but sophisticated sense of style. They launched their latest collection inspired by the iconic location Santorini, Greece.
