Tourists return to Arugam Bay

Arugam Bay, a tourist destination in the eastern part of Sri Lanka, is gradually returning to normalcy with an increased arrival of tourists from various countries.

Arugam Bay has been described as one of the safest surfing spots in South East Asia, and a large number of foreigners visit the area, with their surfing boats, to surf. Those who visit Arugambay make it a point of visiting the Kumuna Sanctuary and other historically significant sites. A group of tourists is seen preparing their Safari vehicles to travel to the Wild Life Kumuna Sanctuary.
