St. Joseph’s will lock horns with Wesley in the second semi-final of the Under-20 Knock out rugby which will be worked off today (4) at Havelock Park.
Kick-off is at 4.00 p.m. League runner-up Joes did well to beat St. Anthony’s in the quarter-final battle, while Wesley handed off Science in a one-sided affair.
Wesley possess one of the best outfits this season, but surprisingly their performance at the League was average. They are in a must win situation if they are to end the season on a high note.
Wesley have in their ranks some class acts such as Hafeez Thabith, Shaveen Jayawardena and skipper Thusith Jayawardena. However, their scrum half and play maker Muralitharan is injured and will miss this encounter.
Joes will have their ever-reliable quartet of Naveen Marasinghe , Dilhara Subash, Vimukthi Deshan and Isuru Kanchana in their starting line-up.
