Uva Province residents complain that the three clock towers in the heart of the Badulla town continue to be dysfunctional for months.
Of the three clock towers, the one in the Badulla town itself has been there for over 80 years and is said to have been constructed 16 years before the country gained Independence.
The other two are opposite the Muthiyangana Raja Maha Vihara and on the road leading to Badulla Maha Vidyalaya.
Hence, residents urge the authorities to urgently repair the three clock towers and make it useful to the public.
