A farmer from Dambulla city with 50 dairy cows tied one of his cows in a fuel line and went to attend to the other animals, as he could not stand in fuel queues for hours.
R M. Ratnayake wrote his motorcycle number on the back of this dairy cow and kept the cow in line.
The farmer said he had been waiting in line for several days, but had not been able to obtain fuel.
He said, he informed the Divisional Secretary, the Police, the manager of the petrol station, and the people waiting in queues about his plight.
