An event to mark World Blood Donors Day was organised by Kalmunai Base Hospital recently under the patronage of the Medical Superintendent of the Hospital Dr. Iraa. Muraleeswaran. Hundred donors who have been donating blood for the last six years were honoured.
Director-EHED Rev. Fr A. Jesuthasan awarded a certificate to blood donors in appreciation. The Secretary to the Public Service Commission-Eastern Province Dr. Moothamby Kopalaratnam, Proprietor of Sornam Jewellery Mart M. Viswanathan and medical personnel were present at the occasion.
