LIOC to continue distributing fuel for non-essential services

The Lanka-Indian Oil Corporation (LIOC) will continue to distribute fuel for non-essential service vehicles, despite the ongoing restrictions imposed by the Government.

General Manager of LIOC, Manoj Gupta, assured that the oil company remains unaffected by these restrictions, and will continue to distribute fuel to all non-essential service vehicles via the ‘token system’.

As per a decision reached during last evening’s Cabinet meeting, all sheds operated by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) will provide fuel only to essential service vehicles till 10 July, effective from midnight yesterday (27).
