The fuel consignment carrying 40,000 metric tonnes of Octane 92 Petrol has been further delayed, Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera said.
Taking to Twitter last evening (24), Wijesekera noted that the supplier had informed the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) that the consignment, initially scheduled to arrive on 23 June, would be further delayed.
Accordingly, a new date of arrival is yet to be confirmed.
