Thereby Amaraweera in a letter to Wijesekera requested the allocation of diesel to distribute fertilizer from 10 to 15 July.

Meanwhile, Amaraweera observed that the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation will take steps to provide fuel required for the Yala season harvest and 247 petrol stations islandwide will be designated for the purpose.
