The principal, staff and students of the Agbopura Maha Vidyalaya in Kantale have taken a collective action to grow crops in all vacant areas in the school premises as a solution to an impending famine in the country.
Students and teachers started cultivation last week.
The project was approved by the school’s principal Charles Wanigasekera
