Unbeaten Army CC record 5th win

Last year’s runner-up Army CC recorded their 5th win in the first round of this season in the Major Club T20 Cricket Tournament conducted by Sri Lanka Cricket yesterday.

 Unbeaten Army CC beat Kurunegala YCC by 7 wickets to lead the group ‘D’ points table and advance to the semi-final with a match to spare.

 In other matches, Panadura SC beat NCC by 3 wickets to lead the group ‘B’ points table, while Colts CC beat Negombo CC by 4 wickets to lead the group ‘C’ points table. Nugegoda S & WC beat Chilaw Marians CC by 4 wickets, Ragama CC beat BRC by 4 wickets and Sebastianites C & AC won by 5 wickets.
