CIA urges MNCC Chair to probe suspicious deal

The Chief Internal Auditor (CIA) at Maga Neguma Construction Company (MNCC) has requested the company Chairman to probe a suspicious deal where Rs 50 million had been given to a private firm in connection with payments made to contractors. It is alleged that the said amount had been disbursed to the private firm in violation of the internal administration policies of the company. According to the CIA, the said transaction had taken place whilst granting relief loans to contractors and the private firm in Gampaha.
