Shipment of LP Gas to arrive today


A shipment carrying 3,500 metric tonnes of Liquefied Petroleum (LP) Gas is due to arrive in Sri Lanka today (26).

On Monday (23), Chairman of Litro Gas, Vijitha Herath stated that a payment of USD 6.5 million was made for two ships carrying 7,500 metric tonnes, of which the first shipment is due to arrive today.

The public have, however, been urged to refrain from queueing up for LP Gas cylinders, as distribution is likely to resume only on Saturday.
