Freight container transportation charges to increase by 35%


The All Island United Container Transport Owners’ Association says freight container transportation charges will be increased by 35 per cent.

Chairperson of the Association, Sanath Manjula said that the container tariff will be increased with effect from midnight today (24).

Earlier on 20 April, the association had increased the rates by 65%.
