GCE O/L exam from 23 May – 1 June


The Department of Examinations said tuition classes, seminars, lectures, and workshops related to the GCE  Ordinary Level 2021 are prohibited as of 17th midnight.

 Any person or institution violating the order will face penalties under the Examinations Act, according to the Commissioner General of Examinations, L.M.D. Dharmasena, “Everything is in place to hold the examination, which has already been postponed twice. We have requested security arrangements from the Department of Police,” he added.

The examination will be held from May 23 to 1 June. At 3,842 examination centres, a total of 517,496 candidates will sit the examination, including 407,129 school students and 110,367 private students.
