Law Students want exam postponed

The Law Students Union of Sri Lanka urged the Law College administration to postpone the Attorneys-at-Law Examinations scheduled to begin today (9).

In a press release, the students requested a postponement of the examination citing difficulty in transport, the planned hartal and other issues.

It was stated that the Law College administration has arbitrarily decided to conduct the examinations as scheduled despite a consensus that the examinations should be postponed.

“We, once again, call upon the principal and Administration of the Law College to re-consider this matter urgently considering the gravity of the adverse effects this matter imposes upon the academic lives of thousands of students,”  the release read.
