Defending champs in hard-fought win

Defending champions Maris Stella Thimbirigaskatuwa advanced to the quarter final-round of the Under-19 Division Three Tier ‘B’ Inter Schools Limited Overs Cricket tournament after a hard-fought 22-run win over Lalith Athulathmudali Maha Vidyalaya Mt. Lavinia according to the parabola method yesterday.

This tournament conducted by Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association (SLSCA) with sponsored by Sri Lanka Cricket.

Other schools to advance to the quarter-final are Hindu College Bambalapitiya, Methodist Central College Batticaloa and
Wickramabahu National School Gampola.
