The Lanka Private Bus Owners’ Association (LPBOA) says that despite the end of the hartal, bus services are limited due to a shortage of fuel.
Chairman of the LPBOA, Gemunu Wijeratne said the situation could continue for another four days.
He pointed out that there is a risk of bus services coming to a complete standstill thereafter.
Wijeratne further said that this situation especially effects long distance buses.
