Defending champions Devapathiraja College Rathgama advanced to the quarter-final of the Under-19 Girls’ Inter schools Cricket tournament, when they beat St. Anthony’s Girls’ College Katugastota by 317 runs in the pre-quarter-final played in Katugastota on Sunday.
Imesha Dulani, skipper and right-hand opener of Devapathiraja, scored her second century this season. She scored 146 runs in 67 balls with 21 boundaries and 6 sixes. Imesha was involved in a stand of 210 runs for the second wicket with Sanjana Kavindi (57).
