Trinity College Kandy had scored 267 runs for nine wickets, by the close of the first day, in their annual ‘Sanga – Mahela’ Challenge Trophy fixture against Nalanda College Colombo at Campbell place yesterday.

Meanwhile at Darley Road, St. Benedict’s College Kotahena had scored 181 for seven against hosts St Joseph’s College, with skipper and right hand opening bat Pasan Suwahas making an unbeaten 109 runs in 192 balls, including five fours and four sixes Both matches will continue today (26).
