Three-day ‘Pannamu’ march concludes at Town Hall

The last day of the three-day protest march against the Government, organised by the Jathika Jana Balawegaya (JJB) under the theme ‘Pannamu’ resumed from Moratuwa yesterday (19).

The protest march commenced from Beruwala on 17 April morning. The march was organised in support of the demonstration at Galle Face demanding the resignation of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa. The protesters marched from Moratuwa to Colombo Town Hall yesterday (19).

While attending the protest JVP General Secretary, Tilvin Silva said, the Government should go home without causing further trouble for the citizens of Sri Lanka.

MP Anura Kumara Dissanayake, Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, Tilvin Silva, Sunil Handunnetti and several others from the party participated in the protest.
