Sri Lanka is set to tour Bangladesh for a two-match Test series, to be played in May 2022. The Test series is set to be part of the 2021-23 ICC Test Championship cycle.

The Sri Lankan team will arrive in Bangladesh on 8 May and play a two-day warm-up match at the M.A. Aziz Stadium in Chattogram on 11 and 12 May, ahead of the two-match Test series, which is set to begin on 15 May at the Zahur Ahmed Choudhary Cricket Stadium in Chattogram.

The second Test will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka from 23 May. The series originally was scheduled to be played during October – November 2020 but was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Sri Lanka did visit Bangladesh in May 2021 but only played a three-match One-Day International series.
