Police arrested a three-wheeler driver this morning over the stabbing of a 29-year-old motorcyclist at a fuel queue in Nitambuwa.
The suspect, identified as a 37-year-old resident of Haburadeniya, was believed to have been under the influence at the time of the incident.
A suspected packet of narcotics (believed to be ICE) was also found in the possession of the three-wheeler driver.
The motorcyclist, a resident from Colombo 14, was stabbed and killed at a filling station at Horagolla in Nittambuwa last night (20).
The youth died at Wathupitiwala Hospital after sustaining fatal injuries.
