CH & FC will be looking for revenge when they take on the Army Sports Club in the Dialog Rugby League game at the Race Course International Rugby Stadium in Colombo tomorrow (16).
Army defeated CH & FC in the first round by 24 points to 18 points and it was a very costly defeat for CH, reducing its chances of winning the league.
But since then CH have played extremely well, defeating all the teams in the second round except for Army SC, whom they will play tomorrow.
CH & FC is on an 8 match winning streak and they will be hoping to continue the good work after their brilliant win against Havelock Sports Club in the last match.
Hirantha Perera did a great job for CH in that encounter, both when scoring a superb try and also in defense, and will look to carry on his good form. Their main weapon is full back Samuel Maduwantha, who although playing out of position has done a superb job. His kicking has been brilliant all season and in the last few games he has managed to score some good tries as well.
Army will rely heavily on their very talented fly half Ashan Bandara, who creates many chances for his team to capitalize on. Wing three quarter Sudaraka Dikkumbura is another dangerous opponent who has scored numerous tries this season that showcased his potential as a great rugby player, and he will surely try to repeat his performance in this match.
CH will be the favourites to win this match on the basis of their great form, despite losing their first round game against Army.
